In this six week course, we will create a painting, breaking it down into manageable steps of under-painting, then glazing or layering, adjusting values and creating rich darks. A photographic reference will be used. Students may paint along with Marla, or use their own photographic reference to practice each process. There will be time for some one on one instruction as well as group critique. Some watercolor experience is recommended.  Class meets 9:30 am - noon on Tuesdays.
