Marla will be teaching a six week watercolor class in Lincoln beginning March 23rd at St. Annes in the Fields in Lincoln, MA where she will demonstrate taking a piece from design to conclusion. Issues covered will include composition, breaking the process down into manageable steps, techniques such as glazing/layering and generating rich darks. There will be discussion of the importance of “learning to see”, the challenges of the creative process and developing tools to bring your work to the the next level. Students can work along with Marla and/or bring their own composition. There will be time for some one on one instruction in addition to group critique.  Some watercolor experience is suggested.
