I  will be teaching a workshop at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society in Pawtucket, RI

November 7th and 8th  

10 am to 3 pm.

Description: In this workshop, we will explore the wonderful and unique qualities of watercolor, reinforcing techniques that let the paints do what they do best. We will experiment with allowing the paints to blend on the paper. We will use underpainting and subsequent glazing/layering to achieve luminous results. We will also examine the importance of value and learn how to generate rich darks that make a painting pop. A photographic reference will be used and sent out ahead of time along with a supply list.
